True friends are rare while in prison. We are judged continually for our past mistake no matter the amount of remorse, no matter the laborious amount of time spent shedding your former way of thinking and living; growing into a redeemed individual. We are still judged and despised by many. To be blessed to share a friendship with someone while in prison who takes time out to e-mail, visit, and talk to you over the phone is the purest form of love agape!
